# Black market

Tools and gear from the black market, bought for cash or crypto and picked up from an NPC.

Players buy tools and heist gear from the tablet's **Black Market** tab. Each item has a cash price, a crypto price, or both.

## Buying

1. Pick an item and pay. The price is taken straight away.
2. A pickup spot is marked on the map: an NPC waits at one of the `MarketLocations` in `configs/client.lua`.
3. Go there and collect the order from the NPC.

Stock is shared by all players and kept in the database. Admins can restock from the Admin tab on the tablet.

## Items for sale

The list is `Store` in `configs/server.lua`:

```lua
Store = {
    {
        id = 'signal_jacker',
        label = 'SignalJacker V2',
        description = 'Military-grade wireless exploitation toolkit. Cracks secured network protocols.',
        price = 0,             -- cash (0 = crypto only)
        crypto = 150,          -- crypto
        item = 'signal_jacker',
        stock = 30,
        icon = 'signal_jacker.png',
    },
    -- more items...
},
```

| Field                  | What it is                             |
| ---------------------- | -------------------------------------- |
| `id`                   | Unique id for the entry                |
| `label`, `description` | Shown in the store                     |
| `price`, `crypto`      | Cash and crypto cost. Set either to 0. |
| `item` | The inventory item the player receives |
| `stock`                | Starting stock                         |
| `icon`                 | Image file in the `items/` folder      |

The default list also sells items from other scripts (C4, drills, keycards…). Remove the ones your server doesn't have. The store refuses to sell an item your inventory doesn't know and prints a warning in the server console, so nobody is charged for it.
